This is Sneha Reddy, 2007 pass-out from SEA School. Asha Ma’am was my class teacher back then, and it’s truly special to reconnect. I completed my Master’s in Physics in 2014, worked in the corporate sector for three years, and later joined IIM Bangalore as a Research Assistant. My journey in education continued as a Facilitator at PNC Cognitio School, and I’m currently serving as the Chief School Officer at KM Educational Trust. My core interests lie in research, learning and development, administration and innovative pedagogies. Grateful for the strong foundation SEA School gave me—it’s been a big part of shaping who I am today.

ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆದ ದಿನಗಳು, ನನ್ನ ನೆನಪಿನ ಗೂಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ವಿಶೇ ಷವಾದ ಭಾಗ ,ನನ್ನ ಬಾಲ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ತಿರುವನ್ನು ನೀ ಡಿದ S.E. A ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ನಾನು ಚಿರಕಾಲಕ್ಕು ಧನ್ಯ,ಮುಖ್ಯ ವಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯ ತರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈ ಹಿಡಿದು ಅಕ್ಷರಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿಸಿದ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಾ ಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಆಶಾ ಮ್ಯಾ ಡಮ್ ರವರಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯಪೂರ್ವ ಕ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ನನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಿಗೆ ವಂದನೆಗಳು. ನನ್ನ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವವನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿದ ನನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲ ಗೆಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರ ೀತಿಯ ನಮಸ್ಕಾ ರ ,ನಾವು ಬಾಲ್ಯದಿಂದ ಎಷ್ಟೇ ದೂರ ಹೋ ದರು ಬಾಲ್ಯದ,ಸ್ನೇಹದ ನೆನಪುಗಳಿಂದ ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಸನಿಹವೇ ಇರುವೇ ವು .

It has indeed been an unforgettable journey which will remain in my heart forever. My school life was filled with lots of excitement and love. It made me understand the value of time and became a wonderful chapter in my life. It is definitely the period where I found myself and learned a great deal about myself. My school life helped me learn dedication and self-actualization. My teachers motivated me and pushed me to achieve my best which is a big part of what I am today. Most importantly, I earned friends here. Friends who will remain so for my entire lifetime. One of the greatest blessings of my school life has indeed been my friends. They were the ones who made this journey unforgettable and easy.

It is schooling which tends to lay down a stiff and sturdy basement to one own personal development. It also acts as a window to how one see’s the society and let the society see them as an individual. Am greatly thankful for all teachers who not only motivated me in academics but also for encouraging us to participate in cultural activities, active participation in Scouts, sports and much more. It is due to this exposure to all round activities am having an understanding of work-life balance. The memories which I carry with myself of my 8 years of schooling in SEA are the most rich and irreplaceable ones till date :)

Everyone would have amazing memories in their school life. Similarly, our batch mates too had an amazing experience. This school is best in academy, sports and cultural activities where the students can succeed in all the fields. I would like to share an experience with you. I joined this institution during my 4th Standard when I was not aware of the local language and also place is new. I had a wonderful teacher who taught me to read and write Kannada. She was so polite and friendly which made me learn the language soon. That inspired me to become a teacher. And now I am a successful teacher where the students love and respect me as I respected my teachers. The institution where I am working is recognizing my work in academy, sports and cultural. This is because of my school life where the teachers gave me opportunities to take part in various activities. This helped me to learn all aspects of students’ life. I would like to quote something “Every SEA’s are trained to survive anywhere in this world”. Each teacher is a role model for all the students. Though the students change from one year to another the quality of education and care from the teachers remain the same. I wish I would like to go back to my school life. Education is not only about academic excellence but also the behavior and the manners we learn. In that way I was blessed to have an opportunity to learn from this institution and be a small yet proud part of it. Our Former President Dr. Abdul Kalam quoted “The best brains of the nation may be found on the last benches of the classroom.” I would like to make a small change in this quote. The best brains of the nation may be found in this institution.”
